The flagship fernet from Porta Hermanos, relaunched in 2007 after five years of recipe and formula development based on the family's original 1882 recipe. Made by macerating and distilling aromatic herbs sourced both locally and internationally (including imported saffron) over several months, then colouring with caramel. Sold in 1 litre, 750ml and 450ml formats and positioned as Argentina's first premium-segment fernet. The producer cites over 20,000 blind tastings in which the product scored highest for foam and flavour among fernet drinkers.
