THE AMARO ATLAS

LEGAL

Terms of Use

VERSION 1 · UPDATED 2026-07-04

The Amaro Atlas is an informational archive about a category of alcoholic (and non-alcoholic) spirits. By using it you accept the terms below.

ACCURACY

We work to a published sourcing discipline — every fact graded A–D by source quality, with honest confidence labels where recipes are secret. That is a method, not a warranty: the archive is provided “as is”, and you should verify anything you rely on commercially. Errors have a fast corrections path.

INDEPENDENCE

Profiles do not imply endorsement, affiliation or approval — in either direction. The Atlas is created by Asterley Bros, itself a producer; our own record follows the same rules as every other, and inclusion is never paid.

TRADEMARKS & IMAGERY

Producer names, brands and bottle designs belong to their owners. Bottle imagery on profiles is supplied by the producer (on claim) or drawn from producer-official material, credited and source-graded. If an image of yours appears and you want it changed or removed, the removal policy applies.

DATA LICENCE

Core producer facts (name, location, founding, products, styles) are published as an open dataset intended for reuse under CC BY 4.0 with attribution to “The Amaro Atlas”. Editorial text, community layers and analytics are proprietary and not covered by that licence.

Final open-data licence text is in pre-launch review; this section states the standing intent and will carry the definitive wording at public launch.

SENSIBLE DRINKING

This site is written for adults of legal drinking age in their country. Drink well, drink less — see drinkaware.co.uk for guidance.

GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
